The Challenge is completely free. Catering (breakfast, lunch, diner, drinks..), fun moments,... no charges.
In light of this, we will charge a fee of €50 if you cancel your registration after September 1st 2017 (or do not attend the event although having registrated).

Our The Challenge- Code of Conduct ensures that all participants have a positive experience at the event!
Working on the challenge
All information needed to work on The Challenge will be given to you on the first day of the event. All code, design and assets must thus be created during The Challenge.
What to bring
You'll need a laptop or other device you can program and work on. You might also want to bring a toothbrush/toiletries & some sleeping gear (sleeping bag, mat, ...) if you're staying the night(s).
The Challenge runs from Friday evening untill Sunday afternoon, non-stop. There's a plenty of space available at our event location for you to take a few (cat) naps here & there.
Let us know beforehand if you would be unable to be present throughout the entire event.
In team or individual?
We recommend that you sign up as a team. If you don’t have a team, we’ll assist you in forming one on the opening evening of the event.
The event location is easily accessible by public transport: The bus/train station Gent Dampoort is located next to Co.Station.
If you're coming by car, please note that you can park for free at a P&R parking nearby. We will provide a shuttle bus between the parking and the event location on Friday & Sunday evening.
The hackathon is open to all those based in Belgium, in specific students & young entrepreneurs with a strong interest in IT, design, …..
